Payment Policy Payment is required on Monday of each week, unless the first day of your child’s week is other than Monday (Tues.-Fri.). Any payment not received on time will result in termination of enrollment.
If a Receptionist or the Bookkeeper is unavailable to assist you, you may deposit your payment in the Payment Box, mounted on the wall next to the sign in table.
On the memo line of your check, we ask that you record the week(s) or day(s) the payment is for to confirm it with our records. If at anytime you have questions regarding payment policies, please contact the Parent Resource Director or Bookkeeper, who will be happy to assist you.
Late Pick-up Fee It is mandatory that your child is picked up by 6:00 p.m., or you will be charged $1.00 per minute, to be paid to the staff immediately, or admission will not be accepted the next day of enrollment.

First Child Always the Youngest Child
Scheduling - You are required to complete an enrollment schedule upon admission. Any schedule changes must be submitted to the receptionist in writing ten working days prior to the change.
Preschool Program ONLY - 9:00-12:00 a.m. The cost is $12.00 each morning and includes lunch.
Before and After School - Our program includes a breakfast before school and snack after school. Rates are $3.00 per hour per student. Rate is charged by 1/2 hour increments. Full days off school - $27.00 per day; additional children are $22.00 per day, per student. The above rates apply for full weeks off from school and Camp Summer Fun.
Registration/Reinstatement Fee - All registrations are $30.00 per child and $40.00 per family. We require the first week of child care to hold a position for your child. The holding fee is applied to the first week of child care. It is a non-refundable and non-transferable fee. If a child's starting date is changed, refer to Admissions Policy.
Sick Day Absentee - Full payment is required for a child absent due to illness. After five consecutive days of absentees and a doctor's excuse, additional fees are waived.
Vacation -Unlimited vacation. You must submit a schedule change in writing 10 working days prior to any vacation days taken, whether taking one day or a week at a time. Failure to submit the schedule change in writing requires full payment of the day(s) absent.
Holiday Payment - New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You are required to pay for all the holidays listed unless your child is not regularly scheduled to attend that day of the week.
Two Week Termination Notice - is required if your child's position at Canaland will discontinue. Failure to give a notice will result in full payment of child care for two weeks.
Leave of Absence - If your child must be absent from Canaland for more than a consecutive two week period, we will hold your child's position up to three months for one week tuition, per child. After three months we will continue to hold your position, although full weekly rate will be charged. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. This does not apply to Camp Summer Fun or Before & After School Program.
